Happy Friday! Currently, we are prepping our upcoming exhibition, Tom Chambers 1997-2012! We will preview the show beginning March 1st and Tom will be at Modernbook to meet greet and sign his new book, Entropic Kingdom on April 5th! The exhibition will present his new series, Illuminations, as well as highlight key images from his previous bodies of work.
Another one of our artists who has been busy creating new images is Rachel Phillips. Below you will find a preview and demonstration video regarding her Field Notes series. Rachel is among the 11 artists in rotation, for our Winter Show: A Selection of Gallery Artists (more info below).

Exhibition: March 1-June 2
Book Signing and Reception: April 5, 5:30-7:30pm
Tom Chambers 1997-2012, will highlight various images from his five bodies of work and introduce his newest series, Illuminations.

In addition to the exhibition, Modernbook Gallery will release our tenth publication, Entropic Kingdom by Tom Chambers.
Hardbound, 11 x 11 inches, 58 four-color plates, 112 pages, contains five bodies of work from 1997-2010, and an introduction written by Aline Smithson.
The Regular Edition has a print run of 1,000.

Rachel Phillips has been hard at work perfecting her wet transfer process onto vintage envelopes for her Field Notes series. A selection of images can be seen in our current exhibition, The Winter Show.
