Why Prop L Will Make San Francisco Even More Expensive

No on LIf there’s anything San Franciscans can agree on, it’s that our city should be looking for ways to make living here less expensive, not more. Unfortunately, this November there’s a measure on the ballot that, in addition to making our streets less safe, would also increase the cost of living here.

Prop L prioritizes expensive auto trips over affordable transportation, reduces the amount of affordable housing we can build and impacts lower and middle class residents the most. Read all about how Prop L impacts the affordability of our already expensive city.

Better Biking Around Balboa Park

Led by the SF Planning Department, the City has been working hard on the long-term vision of the the area around Balboa Park BART Station, enclosed on three sides by Ocean, Geneva and San Jose avenues. While the short-term streetscape project has moved forward after a series of public workshops, this is the time to talk about the long-term vision of how to improve the biking and walking conditions. There will be improvements proposed to the bicycle network and they want your feedback. Learn more about the Ocean Avenue Corridor Design Project and come to the meeting Wednesday night!
