Thank you for joining us last week for artMRKT San Francisco! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and make new friends! For those who were unable to make it to artMRKT here is a blog entry with installation shots and videos from the fair.

Also, we are excited to announce that Modernbook Gallery has partnered with
APA San Francisco for their 3rd Annual Curator's Voice exhibition. This year's theme will be, Approaching the Unreal. Gallery Director, Bryan Yedinak and Gallery Manager, Danny Sanchez, will curate and then exhibit a selection of images at Modernbook Gallery. This call for entries will run through June 25. The exhibition, Approaching the Unreal, will take place at Modernbook Gallery, September 4 through September 27, 2014.

Maia's Sleep Elevations are whimsy images of girls in various states of sleep. Their adventures from the real world into dreamland vary from high above the streets of Paris or just above the soothing sounds of the ocean.

Kristina's Mystery of the Female is an intriguing look at the precarious situations girls and women may encounter. In person, the images almost appear as paintings.

APA Curator's Voice Upcoming Exhibition

Modernbook Gallery is excited to announce that we have partnered with APA San Francisco for their third annual Curator's Voice exhibition.
