The AAG Annual Meeting is an interdisciplinary forum open to anyone with an interest in geography and related disciplines. All scholars, researchers, and students are welcome to present.

A searchable preliminary program with an agenda of sessions, plenary speakers, and specialty group meetings has been posted to the AAG Annual Meeting website. The program can be browsed by presenter, keyword, title, or specialty group. Attendees and participants may also view sessions by day using the calendar of events.

The meeting will take place at the Tampa Convention Center. Discounted sleeping rooms will be offered at the following hotels starting at $199 per night from April 8 to April 12:

EXHIBIT HALL

Explore the AAG Exhibit Hall 

 

The AAG Exhibit Hall will include over 60 exhibitors featuring the latest tools in teaching, field research, graphic applications, computer modeling, and data collection and analysis. Learn about the most recent technical advances in the field, including cartography, GIS, and GPS. You'll also be able to view geography-related textbooks and publications while meeting with publishers. The exhibit hall will be open during the following hours:

  • Wednesday, April 9 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 10 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, April 11 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Attend the 2015 AAG Annual Meeting in Chicago on us!  Win a FREE registration for next year's meeting by participating in the Exhibit Hall Twitter Scavenger Hunt. Find one of the Scavenger Hunt signs in the Exhibit Hall (West Hall, Tampa Convention Center) for instructions on what to tweet.  Winners will be randomly selected and announced at 5:30 pm each day (Wednesday - Friday) on Twitter. AWARDS LUNCHEON

Help Celebrate This Year's Honorees at the AAG Awards Luncheon

 

Advance registration is still open and there is still time to join your friends and colleagues at the AAG Awards Luncheon. Honorees will receive their awards and commendations during the special luncheon on April 12. Notable awards to be presented include the AAG Honors, Enhancing Diversity Awards, Specialty Group Awards, 50 Year Members, and many more. Individual seats are only $55, or purchase a table for ten guests for $495.

About the Meeting

 

The five-day conference is expected to host more than 7,000 geographers from around the world and feature over 4,000 presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips by leading scholars and researchers. The program will also feature:

  • Exhibit Hall - Booths and exhibits showcasing recent publications and new geographic technologies
