Kates to receive AAG Stanley Brunn Award for Creativity in Geography

The AAG will confer to Robert W. "Bob" Kates the 2014 AAG Stanley Brunn Award for Creativity in Geography. This award recognizes Kates for his unrelenting creativity, energy, and care for the world around him, leading him to enhance and ennoble nature-society research as one of geography's fundamental contributions to knowledge. The award will be presented at the AAG Annual Meeting in Tampa, Fla., during an April 12 awards luncheon.
