The abstract deadline will not be extended beyond December 3.

Enjoy a welcome respite from a long winter at the 2014 AAG Annual Meeting April 8-12, in sunny Florida, while experiencing the latest in research and applications in geography, sustainability, and GIScience. Meet and network with geographers, environmental scientists, and GIS specialists.

The conference will feature more than 5,000 presentations, posters, and workshops by leading scholars, researchers, and educators. Featured themes are:

Geographies of Climate Change  *  GIScience, GIS and Policy

Racism and Violence  *  Scale and Sustainability
  *  The American South

In addition, AAG Past President Eric Sheppard will be delivering his past presidential plenary, titled "Thinking Geographically About Capitalism."

Presentations from scholars, professionals, and students on these and related topics are welcome. The AAG encourages attendees to submit abstracts and sessions relevant to the meeting's location or topics influenced by trends within the discipline to help focus discussion and provide a fresh and engaging structure to the conference program.

The annual meeting will also feature a large Jobs in Geography Career Center, an International Networking Reception, and exhibits showcasing the latest scholarly publications and advanced geographic technologies. Many educational field trips will explore the rich cultural and physical geography of Florida.
