What's Ringing Our Bike Bells: Celebrities Riding Invisible Bikes
When we at LACBC came up with the "What's Ringing Our Bike Bells" section a few years ago, we were glad to find an outlet for all the great (and sometimes weird) bike-related stuff we found on the Interweb. These things may not always have to do with advocacy, outreach, or education, but they importantly remind us that biking is fun!
In the spirit of this LOLcat riding an invisible bike, some Redditors utilized their Photoshop skills to create photos of celebrities riding invisible bikes. Brad Pitt, Hilary and Bill Clinton, and LACBC crush Joseph Gordon-Levitt are a few of the celebrities that are shown emulating the LOLcat on an invisible bike. Good job, Interweb!
We are reigniting our Ride Figueroa campaign in partnership with Flying Pigeon, East Side Bike Club, and Bike Oven at the 2013 NELA Holiday Parade onDecember 1st! Join us and many local supporters in showing Councilman Cedillo that support for calming traffic and creating livable corridor is strong. If you would like to help with planning and behind the scenes action, consider joining our Facebook group. We are looking to make outfits, signs, and posters - remember one key objective is to have fun! If you would like to participate in the event, you must RSVP with Alek Bartrosouf at email@example.com.
