Annual Meeting to include theme on American South
With the annual meeting located in Tampa, Florida, this year, the nation of geographers has an unparalleled opportunity to engage with the US region that is the American South. Sessions on a number of important topics are already being organized including, Water, Race, Migration, American Indians, Tourism, and the legacy of the Civil Rights struggle. Conference assistants needed for AAG Annual Meeting
Eligible members are invited to get involved in the AAG Annual Meeting by donating some of their time as a conference assistant. Student members and AAG members who are unemployed or underemployed are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity to help offset their meeting registration costs. AAG Annual Meeting
AAG extends early bird registration discount
Due to the recent government shutdown, the AAG has extended the early bird registration discount through December 3, 2013, to accommodate our colleagues working in the federal government. However, anyone registering by the Dec. 3 deadline is eligible for the lower, discounted rates. Register to Attend
