AAG to feature "Geographies of Climate Change" at Annual Meeting

 

Climate change is the major environmental challenge facing humankind today. Geographies of Climate Change, a featured theme for the upcoming AAG Annual Meeting in Tampa, highlights the complex spatial dimensions of climate change including the observed and anticipated geographical differentiation in potential impacts and vulnerability. The Presidential Plenary that opens the Annual Meeting will focus on this theme, and will feature Mike Hulme, Linda Mearns, Susanne Moser, and J. Marshall Shepherd. AAG Annual Meeting

AAG extends early bird registration discount

 

Due to the recent government shutdown, the AAG has extended the early bird registration discount through December 3, 2013, to accommodate our colleagues working in the federal government. However, anyone registering by the Dec. 3 deadline is eligible for the lower, discounted rates. Register to Attend

About the Meeting

The five-day conference is expected to host more than 7,000 geographers from around the world and feature over 4,000 presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips by leading scholars and researchers. The program will also feature:
