Dear Kevin, We're fast approaching the best day of the year to be on a bicycle! Have you added May 9th, Bike to Work Day to your calendar yet? As a San Francisco Bicycle Coalition member, there are many rewarding ways you can get involved in the Bike to Work Day celebration now! Volunteer! It takes nearly 300 member-volunteers to make Bike to Work Day a success. Will you be one of them? Join us at our Bag-Stuffing Party on May 1 or at one of our 26 Energizer Stations on Bike to Work Day itself. Sign up today!    Be your Workplace Bicycle Champion: You can help your office get ready for Bike to Work Day with a free Employer Toolkit! We've put together posters and a menu of complimentary and affordable services to help your office be more bike-friendly, including workshops, bike rides and more. Request a toolkit here. Nominate your company for the Bicycle Friendly Business Awards: Is your business helping to make it easier and more inviting to bike to work? Recognize their great work and they could be awarded on the steps of City Hall on Bike to Work Day! Nominate by April 30th. Spread the Word! Invite your friends and co-workers to experience the joys of Bike to Work Day! Please take a moment to personally encourage five people to add it to their Google, Outlook/iCal or Facebook calendar.    By celebrating Bike to Work Day, you are bringing more visibility to biking and supporting greater bike improvements in San Francisco. With so many critical campaigns like Polk Street and Market Street under review, your help is needed to ensure that the City's decision makers see there is a grand demand for safety improvements for people on bicycles!
