Exhibits of Bill Mattick's Gardens of LA | Mendota Water Project and Jennifer B. Hudson's Medic Extended at Corden|Potts Gallery

Postcard Gardens of LA | Mendota Water Project

We're happy to tell you that we've been able to extend the two shows we've got on view in the gallery now, Bill Mattick's Gardens of LA | Mendota Water Project and Jennifer B. Hudson's Medic until April 13 so you have two extra weeks to get in to see these wonderful and very different projects.

Corden|Potts Gallery is located at 49 Geary Street, Suite 410, in San Francisco. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 am to 5:30 pm and until 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month.

As landscape photography takes on a more political burden and less of a metaphorical one, Bill's two closely related projects, Gardens of LA and Mendota Water Project consider contemporary issues of land use as it affects the greater good.  Questions of unbridled development, ecological abuses and the myth of the American Dream all resonate in this work.

Jennifer's Medic series is an exploration of illness and recovery, which uses staged imagery that is both artistically stylized and meticulously crafted.  Drawing inspirations from themes of faith and the intricacy of personal relationships, she is a dynamic and emotional illustrator of the human heart. She has used her upbringing in rural Texas in her intensely personal artwork to bring insight and awareness using heartfelt, acutely mapped personal experiences.

We look forward to seeing you in the gallery before April 13.
