You'll see work from Takeshi's Silent Respiration of Forests-Yosemite, which showcases his unique perspective on what is, without a doubt, an iconic landscape. You'll also see work from two other of Takeshi's series: Silent Respiration of Forests and Evanescence-Lotus, both done in his native Japan.
Beth Moon's projects have continually displayed a unique diversity of subject matter. To prove this point, you'll see work from Beth's Thy Kingdom Come and Savage Garden series, which we haven't exhibited previously. There's a favorite from our exhibit of Beth's newest series, Odin's Cove, which was on view in the gallery earlier this year. In addition, we'll show two more images from her Augurs and Soothsayers series, but there's a surprise in store for you, even if you've seen the two images from this series, which have been on view over the last few months.
Because we want you to visit the gallery, we don't want to give too much away, but work by other artists in the show includes images from Peter Steinhauer's Cocoons, Stephen Galloway's Roots & Shrubs, Susan Burnstine's Absence of Being and On Waking Dreams, Jane Fulton Alt's The Burn, Sharon Beals Nests, Ron Moutrie Saunders The Secret Life of Plants, Mary Ellen Bartley's Standing Open and Camille Seaman's Dark Ice.
We hope we've piqued your curiosity about our show Portfolio and hope that you'll decide to visit the gallery soon.
Liz and Jan
