Just One More Week to Bike the Vote
Key Bike Related Propositions: And, this election we have a great opportunity to improve biking, in San Francisco or in the East Bay: If you live in San Francisco, vote YES for Proposition B for clean and safe parks. And if you are one of our wonderful members who lives in the East Bay, vote YES on Proposition B1 for increased funding for bike/ped projects in Alameda County. And join us for a Prop B Parks Bond Fundraiser on November 1. Daylight Savings Ends Sunday: Light Up the Night! Daylight saving time ends this Sunday, and we don't want you to get caught in the dark without bike lights. California law requires a white headlight and rear red reflector and yellow/white reflector on sides and/or pedals (reflective whitewalls count). If you don't have the lights you need, use your SF Bicycle Coalition membership card to get a discount on lights at your favorite bike shop. See sfbike.org/discounts for locations. Deadline to Sponsor Winterfest is November 2nd
