Dear Kevin,
Six months ago, the City dropped the ball on using federal grant money for bike and pedestrian improvements on 2nd Street. That was a huge missed opportunity for better biking and walking.
We can't let that happen ever again.
With your help, we will watch-dog the City to make sure that much-needed funds -- including the $248 million Streets Bond we helped get passed in November -- result in tangible bike improvements for you.
Now is the time for action! Donate $10, $25, $50 or $250 toward our goal of $15,000 to get smooth pavement and separated bikeways on critical streets like Market, 2nd and Masonic sooner than later.
With your help, your hard-working SF Bicycle Coalition will have the resources and people-power we need to attend every City, community and business meeting to build support for better bikeways, and ensure you are riding on smooth, protected bikeways all across the city.
Together we can shape the future of our streets!

Executive Director
P.S.—Believe it or not, there's still a lot of opposition to bike projects. Lots of people who don't bike think that the state of our streets are just fine as they are. Do you think they're fine? We don't! Let's take this opportunity to transform our streets -- please help!
