Hello friends of Modernbook!
We have a number of exciting items to share with you regarding exhibitions, art fairs, and books!
First off, the "First Thursday" art walk for July has been moved to the second Thursday. Mark your calendar for July 12, 5:30-7:30pm as we open our summer exhibition by fashion and celebrity photographer, Brian Duffy.
Also, in July, Modernbook Gallery will return to the Hamptons for Art Hamptons, July 13-15, booth B-27. Email modernbook@modernbook.com for comp tickets.
Next, we would like to introduce you to Modernbook friend, John Rickard. Over the past 14 years, John has been busy documenting the beauty of the McCloud river located in Northern California. As a result, he as amassed a beautiful body of work and will create a book in collaboration with Modernbook Editions. To help with production costs, John has created a kickstarter! For those of you curious about the 'behind the scenes' process, regarding book publishing, be sure to read an excellent interview with Tom Chambers by our friends at Photo-Eye. Entropic Kingdom, a new book by Tom Chambers is now available!
Finally, with the release of Entropic Kingdom, Modernbook Editions has published a total of eleven books!
