MOVE IT FORWARD! Your Urgent Help Needed Now to Keep It Moving!

Take Action here to voice your support!

This week, over a hundred housing advocates across California converged on the State Capitol to make it happen. SB 1220, which would establish a dedicated source of funding of upto $525 million per year for affordable housing, cleared both the Senate Transportation and Housing Committee by a 6-2-1 vote and the Senate Governance and Finance Committee by a 5-2 vote. It is now scheduled for the Senate Appropriations Committee, and if cleared there by May 25 could be voted on the Senate floor.

We are now at a critical juncture in creating a dedicated source of funding for affordable homes in California. Take just a moment to send faxes to your state legislators, Governor Jerry Brown, and members of the Senate Appropriations Committee in one easy step.

Take Action here. *** please note, after our system identifies your state representatives, if you wish to include your organization and title - after entering your name please enter your organization & title it on the "STREET" line field and your street address on the "STREET 2" line field of your fax entries***
