With your support as a San Francisco Bicycle Coalition member, our advocacy is yielding powerful results and making our streets safer and more comfortable for you and your loved ones. Thank you!     Imagine what would be possible if there were more members like you...how many more miles of bikeways would you be riding on by next year?     For the next two weeks (until May 4), we want to make it worth your while to invite your friends to join you as a San Francisco Bicycle Coalition member.  Get your friends to join and you could win a Salsa Casseroll bike, courtesy of Roaring Mouse Bicycles, and other great prizes.     And, we've sweetened the pot so that your friends get $5 off their membership just by following your lead!     To get started, simply go to  sfbike.org/get-a-member, where you can get your unique referral URL to post on Facebook, Twitter, or even your blog (we've even gotten you started with a pre-written email to make it easier to recruit your friends)!     When a friend becomes a San Francisco Bicycle Coalition member, you'll get a shout out on Facebook or Twitter, a free bike bell (while supplies last) and Chinook Book mobile discount pack, and you'll be entered in a raffle for one of five prize packages that include a light set, U-lock, pump and WTB saddle. The person who recruits the most members will ride away on a Salsa Casseroll bike!     Why is being a member so important? With a 71% increase in bicycle trips in San Francisco in the past five years, it's more urgent than ever that San Francisco speed the pace of change for bicycling improvements. Your membership helps make everything we do possible by providing the resources, ambassadors, political clout and volunteers necessary to keep bicycling improvement projects on track.     You only have two weeks!
